Diego Larguia, a multi-faceted artist and teacher from New Orleans, will host five watercolor workshops this fall at Abbey Art Works. Each session will be on a Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Information and registration link for each workshop are below.

Remember: Each date is an individual workshop.

  • The instructor will provide a reference image and do a full demonstration. Topics covered will include drawing, value, color and techniques. Participants will then do their own painting. We will conclude with a brief critique of the work produced. Workshops are conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment.

  • • assorted paints (tubes or pans)
    • watercolor palette
    • assorted brushes
    • water container
    • masking tape (natural color, not blue, etc)
    • paper towels and or tissue paper
    • good watercolor paper such as Arches 140 lb. Cold Press, no larger than 11x14
    • board to tape paper down (slightly larger than paper)
