OVERNIGHT GUESTS

“All guests who present themselves are to be welcomed as Christ.”

- Rule of Saint Benedict, Chapter 53

Limited Number of Rooms in Monastery Available for Overnight Male Guests

Saint Joseph Abbey welcomes guests as we might welcome Christ, just as Benedict told his monks to do in the Rule of Saint Benedict. “Proper honour must be shown ‘to all, especially to those who share our faith’ (Gal. 6:10) and to pilgrims,” the Rule states.

The monastery has a limited number of guest rooms for men only. Female guests and group requests may contact the Retreat Center to to reserve a room(s).
