2025 SAINT JOSEPH APPEAL

Thank you for your continued support.

ALL DONATIONS FROM THE 2025 SAINT JOSEPH APPEAL WILL BE USED ON RENOVATIONS TO SEMINARY GYMNASIUM.

The following is the 2025 Saint Joseph Appeal Letter from Abbot Gregory Boquet, O.S.B. and Fr. Matthew Clark, O.S.B, President-Rector.

Dear Friends,

On the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, we reflect on his role as a faithful and prudent servant as we recite this antiphon, "The Faithful and Prudent Servant, whom the Lord sets over His household, will give his fellow servants their measure of grain in due time." (Luke 12:42). Just as the Church upholds Saint Joseph as a model of virtue, our Seminary is tasked in forming “faithful and prudent servants” who will one day serve as Catholic priests to the Church.

This year, our Saint Joseph’s Appeal focuses on the refurbishment of our gym - a vital space for seminarians' physical and communal well-being. Our gym is more than just a building; it’s an essential part of daily life here. Physical health and wellness are a vital part of the formation program at St. Ben’s, allowing seminarians to grow not only spiritually but also in body and mind. Friendships, camaraderie, and resilience have been built in our gym through the years.

In December 2024, our alumni generously donated toward this same objective. As the project began in early January, it was discovered that more funds would be necessary to properly complete the refurbishment. To restore this cherished space, we seek $125,000 to continue with Phase One, installing cushioned, flood-resistant flooring that ensures the safety of all and the durability to withstand use and our volatile climate.

Your donation, whether large or small, will have a meaningful impact and will help us create a welcoming, formative environment for our seminarians. Your consideration of this worthy project is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued prayers and for being part of the St. Ben’s family!

In Christ’s Peace,
Abbot Gregory Boquet, O.S.B.
Fr. Matthew Clark, O.S.B., President-Rector
