The Abbey Gift Shop and Book Store is much more than you might expect from a traditional Catholic shop. The usual devotional rosaries, statues, medals, crucifixes and the like can certainly be found, but the unexpected is what you should always expect when making a visit to this unusual collection of religious goods.Icons from Russia and Greece, bronze work from Germany, and elegant statues from France are mainstays at the shop. Spanish colonial style paintings from Peru and minimalist statuary from Korea are also regularly available.
The book selection runs the gamut from traditional Catholic prayers to inter-religious dialogue alongside a healthy selection of books on Benedictine spirituality.
