You are cordially invited to join us for Deo Gratias (“Thanks be to God”), to be held at Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College on Saturday, October 18, 2025. This annual fundraising gala benefits Saint Joseph Seminary College, and funds raised directly support our mission of preparing young men for the Roman Catholic priesthood and accompanying them in their discernment.

Deo Gratias is held under the beautifully appointed Pius X breezeway and will feature dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and more. Bonanno’s Fine Catering will be catering the event.

Patron level packages, corporate sponsorship packages and individual tickets are now available online. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

  • We are excited to have the premiere New Orleans show and dance band
    X-Ceptions, presented by Jerry Christopher Music at Deo Gratias this year. This band features some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the New Orleans area. They’ll start the evening with some smooth jazz as guests mingle and enjoy dinner, then they’ll bring some high-powered fun that will get guests on their feet and onto the dance floor with songs from the 70's and 80's as-well Motown, Blues Brothers, Do-Wop, Soul and New Orleans party music. Get ready to have some fun!

    Auction items will be on display at the event and ready for the highest bidder to take them home. As the event gets closer items will also be posted online on our auction site, and you will be able to bid on your favorite items through your cell phone while walking through the auction area or sitting at your table. You can even bid from your own home if you are unable to attend the event.

    And you won’t have to keep checking the bid sheet to make sure you get your favorite item. You will be notified on your cell phone if you’ve been outbid!
